Interesting map (apologies for awful photogrtaph) of Taiwan in/by Japanese but before their acquisition of the islands in 1895.Not surprisingly, the southern Hengchun (恆春) penninsula is shown in additional detail, presumably showing their special knownledge of that region following Japan's invasion in 1874 (for more see "Hengchun" entry).
The map is on display at the National History Museum in Taipei
